...nobody was betting on you owning with it anyway.
I can see why they charged so much, but why not remove stats from the item sets entirely? There's so many things wrong with that feature other than the Valve-charging-$18-for-hats issue besides.
Is it sad that Valve, the company selling the L4Ds for ~$6, is also the same company selling me a hat in TF2 for ~$18? They're charging 3x the cost of a game for what is essentially some polygons.
Have Bungie and other developers really set our expectation for release dates so high that we have to start bitching and moaning when some free content doesn't come out at midnight for their specific timezone which isn't necessarily Valve's?
Seriously, Valve is a company, and like most companies its offices have opening and closing hours, which means, like most companies, they can't have some guy staying up all night so they can upload a web update, prepare ...
Wow, they've really made great strides since the days of pre-rendered peeing cutscenes. Thanks 3D Realms- er, I mean thanks Gearbox!
I don't see why we moved on past dedicated servers. It's a great system, just executed poorly on consoles. If we had official dedicated servers we could pick from from a list, were a game ended when we were bored with it instead of match-by-match, all would be right in the world. Sure, it doesn't work for the rank-up system found in many games today, but it's a stupid system anyway. I want non-elitist, non-ranked, always on servers that I can just have fun in.
...do you want a special prize or something?
If they can't take criticism because their game happens to be bad, it's their fault. They should just suck it up, learn from their mistakes and do better next time, like most respectable artists and developers do.
Goddammit, I like indie devs as much as the next guy but sometimes they don't know how to take a punch without bitching about it.
Maybe they'll remove the "Other OS" feature, or block third party controllers from working! D:
Wait...
I love you.
*takes off glasses*
...the DOG got your tongue- err, I mean upper lip...

Console gamers on either side seem to support their loyalty with various decisions that matter more or less to certain people, and it's all based on opinion.
I tell all of these people the hard fact that PC gaming is better, the end. I am above console wars.
/trollin'
...I'll be satisfied. For now I shall live in fear of the shotgun until further notice.
What's that TF2? You have frequent free updates, unique and balanced gameplay, and a huge modding community complete with dedicated servers? And you're inly 20 bucks? Aw Gaben, you so crazy.
Paid for by the commity of Face Doctors for Valve fanboy conversion.
Heh, Activision using a logical, non-intrusive way of making more money. For a second there I thought you were serious. XD
"Kotick also talked a bit about technology allowing in-game characters to show more emotion like actual human actors.“The characters you see on the screen are going to be much more realistic than they are today, ” he said. “They’re going to be more compelling, they’re going to be more believable, there’s going to be so many more things you can do from a gameplay perspective than what we can do today."
Half-Life 2 already perfected this back in 2004. Just sayin'....
It's called Blue Screen of Death. And honestly I'd take losing a few game-saves rather than having my hardware melt.
Has anyone even seen gameplay of Bioshock: Infinite? All we've seen so far is a CG trailer.
Interesting read, though there are still too many Snipers. It's meant to be an obscure thing, were only the elite can succeed and the only way they could become elite was through rigorous training and practice that would turn most people away. But in videogames, anyone can be a good enough sniper for it to keep their interest, and thus we have an over-saturation of them.
